Experience transformative Heilpraktiker sessions at Gamla Healing.
What is a Thai Massage?
Thai massage, an ancient art and practice, has its roots in the kingdom of Thailand, as per legend. Chiwaka Komaraphat, a highly skilled healer and the private caretaker of the Buddha, is said to have elaborated this practice thousands of years ago.
Experience the transformative power of Thai massage, a holistic practice that involves a fluid and precise sequence of acupressures, strokes, and stretches along the energy lines of your body. This process effectively dissolves blockages, allowing energy to flow freely. Simultaneously, the massage relaxes the body and stimulates immunity, reactivating its inherent healing power.

FAQ
Below are common questions from my clients. If you don't find your answer, feel free to contact me directly. I’m here to help and provide all the information you need for a successful healing experience.
During a Thai massage of 60 min you have the choice between a focus on your back or a focus on your legs. A Thai massage of 120 min is a full-body massage, where I take care of both upper and lower body.
After a session, it's best to rest, drink plenty of water, and avoid any strenuous activities. This helps your body integrate the experience. Taking some quiet time for reflection can also be beneficial.
There are no strict guidelines on how often you should get a Thai massage. If you're trying to solve a chronic problem, I recommend weekly treatments for at least 4-6 weeks. Otherwise, monthly visits could work just fine. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide how often you receive Thai massages, but this healing art is also traditionally used as a preventive measure to maintain the body and the energetic system in harmony to prevent illness. Regular sessions are therefore recommended.
Yes, you will need to bring fresh and comfy clothes to wear just for the session: a t-shirt with a small neck opening that covers your shoulders completely, as well as long pants that are not too thick (joggers or pajama style).
Please come to the session freshly showered, especially your feet, that will be manipulated often during the massage. Your last meal should be light and take place at least 2h beforehand.
I offer a holistic service, which takes into account your entire being (body, mind, and soul). My specialty is creating safe spaces for people to express what hurts. My services include holistic health coaching, psychotherapy, astrology readings, Reiki sessions, and Thai massage. These services can be booked individually, but they work synergistically in the therapy I provide.
The term "Heilpraktiker" refers to a naturopath in Germany, but not just any naturopath! A Heilpraktiker must undergo rigorous education. This is not a practitioner with a few weeks of internships or some correspondence courses who then "hangs up a shingle," as is unfortunately common in many countries. A Heilpraktiker is in general trained over at least 3500h of studies in Germany. You can learn more about it by readind this article.
I always make sure to ground the person as much as possible before ending the session - online or in presence. The person always has the possibility to contact me per email or message in the hours following the consultation in case of emergency. I will myself analyse the situation to understand what kind of support the person needs in the moment.
I comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding patient confidentiality, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU. All consultations take place in a private, secure setting to ensure that discussions and treatments remain confidential. Patient records are stored securely in a locked and protected system, whether they are in digital or paper form. Access to these records is restricted to me only. Any digital patient information is stored on encrypted servers to protect against unauthorized access. I request explicit consent before sharing any information with other healthcare providers or third parties, unless required by law.
Prices vary based on the type of service you book. You can find the fees on my website. Appointments can be canceled up to 24 hours before their start time. Later cancellations require full payment of the session.
If not canceled at least 24 hours before its start, an officially booked session through Doctolib will be invoiced at 50% of its full price. All performed sessions will be fully invoiced with no possibility of refund.
You can either pay cash if the session takes place in presence at the praxis, or by wire transfer at the following bank details: IBAN: DE21 1101 0100 2785 4861 14 BIC: SOBKDEBBXXX
The costs of a session with a Heilpraktiker are in general not covered by the health insurances. Some private insurances are sometimes covering part of the costs, but it is rather an exception. I kindly ask you to clarify how it works with your own personal insurance before starting with our sessions if you want to be sure to be covered.

You'll have to fill out a detailed medical history questionnaire before the first appointment. You're invited to bring all the drugs you're currently taking (prescribed by a doctor or not, that includes all kinds of supplements), as well as your last blood test or other health check-up if available. It is also important, on your side, to reflect upon the reasons why you reach out to me and what kind of outcome you expect.
You can book an appointment on any page of my website by clicking the "Book at Doctolib" or "Book Consultation" button. This will direct you to the Doctolib website, where you can schedule your session with me.
